The 9970/9970D Parts book, Fig 13, Item 13 incorrectly shows the Control Panel as Part #022751.  The Control Panel for 9970/9970D is Part #400822.

The 9870 Control Panel is Part #022751, although some of the very late model 9870's use Part #400822.  

To ensure that you are getting the correct  control panel, check the sides.  The sides of Part #022751 are solid; The keypad side of Part #400822 has a round hole to accommodate the green auxiliary start switch assembly (Item 25).
