T-51 "ORIGINAL" MODEL: FOR AB DICK 350/360 PRESSES
The "original" non swing-away model T-51 with it's 7 roller ink system and 5 roller dampening system revolutionized the printing industries.

With full 360 degree vertical adjustment and horizontal and twist (skew) adjustment printers find the T-51 both convenient and easy to operate for quick two-color work.
T-51 STANDARD SWING-AWAY MODEL:
FOR AB DICK 350/360/375- 8800/8900/9800/9900 PRESSES
Introduced in 1986, the standard swing-away model T-51 with it's 14 roller ink/moisture system quickly became the model by which all other color heads are judged.

With single handle control operation and swing-away abilities the standard swing-away quickly became the work horse in countless print shops and is the most widely used piece of equipment in all sizes of shops, world wide, today!
T-51 S-1 MODEL: FOR AB DICK 9800/9900 PRESSES
In 1993 Townsend Industries released the T-51 S-1 series T-head.

The S-1 model has modular ink/dampening systems, 3 ink forms, choice of ducting or continuous dampening, 25% greater inking capacity with vertical and horizontal adjustment capability while running. Designed with "big press" features and ability, the S-1 is well suited for larger screen/solid coverage and more complicated printing needs.
T-51 ANNIVERSARY EDITION (AE) MODEL:
FOR AB DICK 8800/8900-9800/9900 & QP PRESSES
In 1998 Townsend Industries introduced the Anniversary Edition (AE) model T-51. With the operational and mechanical design derived from the standard swing-away, in addition to the revolutionary new plate cylinder with On-the-Fly vertical, horizontal and twist (skew) adjustment, the new AE quickly became an operators favorite!

Both new and existing end user's favor this model for its versatility.

* Due to the AE's popularity the T-51 AE is offered as a "base unit" machine. Printers with earlier models (standard swing-away or S-1) have the option to purchase the AE at a reduced list price when trading in their current T-head.
T-51 GS MODEL: FOR AB DICK QP-25 PRESSES
In 2001 with the newly released A.B. Dick QP-25, Townsend Industries designed a completely new dedicated T-51 incorporating the On-the-Fly plate adjustments with all new Auto/Manual Impression, Continuous Dampening, ink/water lockouts, ink ductor control switch, clean up attachment and more.

With its print matching ability, to the parent press, the GS model is capable of producing a variety of demanding printing jobs.
T-51 SWING-AWAY MODEL: FOR AB DICK 9880/9890 PRESSES
In 1988 the standard swing-away model T-51 became available for the A.B. Dick 9880 & 9890 parent machines. Sporting all the same features as its little brother this dedicated T-head opened up the ability to print 2 color's in a single pass on a landscape 17 1/2" x 22 1/2" sheet size format.

In 2003 Townsend Industries introduced the Anniversary Edition (AE) model T-51 for use on the A.B. Dick 9920 model press. With the operational and mechanical design derived from the standard swing-away, in addition to the revolutionary new plate cylinder with On-the-Fly vertical, horizontal and twist (skew) adjustment, the new AE makes a great addition to this newly aquired parent model.

In 2003 the Anniversary Edition (AE) NT model T-51 for use on the A.B. Dick 9920 model press was released. With the operational and mechanical design derived from the AE model, in addition with added features of automatic impression, clean up attachment, ink fountain lockout, choice of aqua-flow or continuous dampening and new universal plate clamp, the new AE NT is the most automated T-51 produced by Townsend Industries.
